$(whoami)

konoha@debian:~$ whoami
konoha
So that's me, konoha.
My official activity name is Shirasaki Konoha (白崎 木葉)

Why konoha?

There's no particular reason. I just liked how it sounded.
By the way, my original activity name was Pik6C, which is also a pretty strange name
You read it as "pickles," you know?
It's kind of like those people who read "Favorite" as "faborite," but even more unreasonable

What do you do?

Programming, Linux, BSD, and various other things
The hottest thing for me lately is the C language
I know people say "what year is that language from," but I realized I really love how explicit it is
I see... so I like explicit languages...!

In terms of languages I can write:
Rust < Zig < C
That's the order, but I've realized C is actually quite a simple language, so Zig's position is becoming uncertain
But Zig's cross-compilation is really powerful, so I can't beat it in that regard
Result: Zig has become a build tool

By the way, I really can't do anything with frontend. This site represents my best effort, but you can tell from the HTML 4.1
And I got quite a bit of help from AI

What else can I do besides programming?

Simple image editing with GIMP and a bit of video editing
And... what else?
I don't really know, but I'm a tech geek

What editor do you use?

Believe it or not, kate
But that doesn't mean I only use kate—I'm fine with any editor as long as it supports Vim or Emacs keybindings
The reason I actually use kate is because it was just there
Plus kate has LSP and other features working out of the box, so it's pretty convenient

Q & A

Q. How old are you?

My old is 16 y/o this year

Q. Why NetBSD?

NetBSD has been ported to all kinds of PCs.
It might even run on your refrigerator, or it might be on your router!
The fact that it can be ported to so many PCs means the design is solid. That's +1 point right there
And the readability of the source code. This one's pretty strong, you know? So that's +30 points
Result: 31 points out of a possible 10

Q. Using Debian and liking NetBSD seems pretty ideological...

I'm not scary! I'm not strongly ideological!
For example, I'm not great with Wayland, but that's because there are a lot of IM-related bugs.
I don't dislike Ubuntu, in fact I rate it quite highly as it's the optimal Linux distribution for beginners, right?
The reason I use HTML 4.1 or 3.2 is because I want sites to be viewable with Lynx and such.
Sure, the modern web isn't great, but that's just the flow of the times

What do I dislike... I wonder. Tomatoes?
I hate the squishy sensation of tomatoes. If tomatoes come with my salad, I eat them sadly. Food waste is wasteful
I really love chicken. If I go to a yakiniku restaurant, I always order chicken and I love chicken
I was a bird of prey in my previous life

Q. I want to exchange links!

If you want to put my banner, just post this banner wherever you like!
Then contact me on Discord or somewhere and give me your site and banner, and I'll put it on Links!
By the way, direct linking to banner images is prohibited. My server specs are low;;
